The house is the true Monteverde experience, at the heart of the historic part of Monteverde, settled by the original Quaker community in 1951. The Children's Eternal Rainforest is 5 min away on foot, Curi-Cancha Reserve is 10 min away. The Cloud Forest Reserve is only 1.86 miles from here. Restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, grocery in walking distance, the Monteverde cheese factory, and world-class artisanal chocolate and gelato at Paseo de Stella. The home is in the middle of a lush 5+ acre property, which ensures absolute privacy and tranquility. The house is an unforgettable place to stay for couples and families.

Oct 25: We have just completed a full remodel of this lovely house. It now has two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, deck, and laundry room all on one level and with wide doors to make it wheelchair friendly. My mother built this as her retirement house. She wanted a cozy, comfortable, house with a beautiful view. Wood floors, fireplace with firewood provided for the chilly Monteverde nights, beautiful windows so that you are looking down on the tops of the trees in the river gorge.
