Farmer's Suite in the historic Manor House!

Welcome to the Farmers Suite on the 3rd floor of the Manor House at Gayfield! This very private Suite has a bedroom with a full size bed and a comfortable sofa bed in the great room, and affords scenic views of the farm. With modern heat/AC, a claw-foot tub/shower, and an equipped kitchenette this Suite is comfortable and charming. Those receptive to the spirits can experience the whispering voices of the past echoing through this Civil War estate! There are headroom limitations so use caution.

The Lounge at The Stables of Rolling Ridge is a private, quiet, newly renovated apartment in the heart of a small town. Conveniently located on 77-acres of rolling farm land, our family invites you to unwind and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the DMV. The farm offers incredible sunsets, lush gardens with a gorgeous wooden pergola, and plenty of farm friends to keep you company! The Lounge is bright with a modern farmhouse feel and comes with all the essentials to make you feel at home!

Scientist's Suite in the historic Manor House!

The Scientist Suite is named for current owner Roscoe Bartlett Jr. PhD, a former researcher and professor! On the 2nd floor of the Manor House, the Suite is situated with a vintage full size beds in both the great room and a second bedroom. With modern heat/AC, vintage full bath, and an original drain-board sink with equipped kitchenette, the Suite is comfortable and efficient. Those receptive to the spirits can experience the whispering voices of the past echoing through this Civil War estate!

Jarboe Suite in historic Manor House!

The Jarboe Suite takes its name from the Jarboe family, the original 1948 builders of Manor House at Gayfield! The bedroom boasts an antique canopy bed, wonderful views, marble topped dresser and washstand and modern heat/AC. The large bathroom includes a corner tub. The 2nd floor Jarboe Suite is situated nicely with an equipped kitchenette that includes a dry-sink conversion. Those receptive to the spirits can experience the whispering voices of the past echoing through this Civil War estate!

Tower Suite in the historic Manor House!

Welcome to the Tower Suite on the 3rd floor of the Manor House! The Suite is situated with one queen size bed and a comfortable convertible futon. With awesome views from the observation deck of the tower, modern heat/AC, a 72” vintage soaker claw-foot tub, and an equipped kitchenette the Tower Suite is stylistic and comfortable. Those receptive to the spirits can experience the whispering voices of the past echoing through this Civil War estate! There are headroom limitations so use caution.

Charming Apartment above a studio on small farm.

This charming upper level apartment space is perfect for a weekend getaway. The property is available for relaxing, talking with the chickens and sheep, and just enjoying the views. A small kitchenette can service your cooking needs. It is heated and air conditioned. Views are amazing. Space is above a yarn studio. My hand dyed yarn, fiber, art, jewelry and scarves are available for purchase. An hours drive from Washington puts you in our rural area. Historic Frederick is 15 miles away.

Poolside Paradise in Monrovia, Maryland.

Enjoy your stay in this fabulous pool house located in a quiet neighborhood. Relax poolside during the day and enjoy the outdoor bar and kitchen for cocktails at sunset. Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick. Private entrance to backyard with a large green space on the backside of the pool house. We consider ourselves a couples retreat and don’t host gatherings. We look forward to hosting you soon:)

Gate House

Quaint cottage farm house nestled in beautifully rolling countryside setting on an operating horse farm. Fully furnished with all the modern amenities. Easily accessible from I70, and located within 30 to 40 minutes of Frederick, Baltimore, DC and Gettysburg. This property is also situated at the North west trail head to the Patuxentstate park, with tons of access to easy hiking! Pet friendly, we just ask that pets remain on leash when outside of the space or vehicles.

The Crooked Camel

Century-old country house in Maryland near the DC metro area. Come relax or enjoy local adventures! Easy access to great cycling, boating, hiking, wineries and breweries, and nature. The house is furnished with interesting decor from 30 years spent overseas. 3 rooms available, sleeping a maximum of 6 adults, and two bathrooms. Nearby MARC train line, visitors should expect to hear passing trains. Manager lives on-property in a separate building.
