Spend the days boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Watch breathtaking sunsets from the porch swing, hot tub or dock, and cap the nights off in our game room. Minutes from hiking and biking trails at the Uwharrie National Forest, Morrow Mtn State Park, vineyards, antiques and waterfront dining.

This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. Amazing views from 5 stories above the lake, looking towards Uwharrie National Forest (no houses across the lake). Sunset & sunrise are a must see. Stairs lead down to dock for fishing, swimming, relaxing, & kayaking. Three bedrooms offer sleeping for up to 10 guests. Fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, outdoor fire pit, super fast wifi, cable TV. The perfect place to relax any season!

Hiker’s Haven

Enjoy total seclusion at one of the few mountain top homes in the Uwharrie National Forest. This rustic cabin features 2 bedrooms, 1 king with half bath and 1 set of bunk beds, a hot/cold outdoor shower, refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. Outside enjoy a porch with grilling area and a charcoal grill. 1 mile to Uwharrie trail, within 4 miles to multiple kayak launches, horse and ATV trails. Hiking with long range views from the property. Kayaks, paddle boards, gold pans available.

Located in Badin Shores Resort. Amenities offered include seasonal swimming in the olympic sized saltwater pool, beach area, on site restaurant, fishing or strolling on 2 mile dock along water, disc golf, mini golf, horseshoe pit, volleyball, basketball, playgrounds, workout room, and more! 2 kayaks for use and boat rentals available thru various boat rental websites. There is a $50 fee, resort charges,to bring in your own boat, parking for boat in 72 hour parking lot.

Lickety Slip is a spacious retreat nestled in a quiet cove that accommodates up to 12 guests. Winter special: 10% off for 3+ nights! We offer: -600 square foot deck -All white linens and towels. Every bed and pillow is fully encased for hygiene. All comforters are duvet style that are washed between each guest. -2 Kayaks and 3 Paddleboards and a lily pad -Private dock with pontoon lift. Check boat weights with host ahead of time -Ping Pong Table and darts
