1880s Miner’s Cottage in Moonta Mines – Heritage

Step back in time at this 1880s miner’s cottage in historic Moonta Mines. Built over 140 years ago and extended in the early 1900s by the man who built many Yorke Peninsula roads, it still features the dining room, kitchen and bathroom he added. Lovingly owned for 12+ years and renovated twice, the cottage blends original stone walls and low doorways with modern comforts, a cozy wood fire, a well-equipped indoor & outdoor kitchen, and a big backyard perfect for BBQs under the dark night stars.

'A Spencer Escape' is perfectly located to the heart of Wallaroo, with a 500m walk to the supermarket, bar and cafe strip. The Wallaroo jetty and swimming enclosure along the picturesque foreshore is a short walking distance away. 'Spencer' is fully enclosed, outdoor pet-friendly only, comprising of 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 7 people with a 4-burner BBQ, outdoor dining and ample on-site parking space. Wallaroo Adventure playground is a stone's throw away. Your ideal escape with family & friends.

Our secure backyard has a kids’ playground, and the shed includes bikes and fishing gear if you’d like to try the local pastime. We look forward to welcoming you home!

Only 150m to the beach, with beach access on our street. Short walk to jetty and splash park Main house is 3 bedrooms, sleeping 7 guests. Mini house is 2 bedrooms sleeping 5 guests. Both having their own kitchen and bathroom. Large outdoor area with cubby house and great lawn space.Our table tennis table is also a fan favourite
