Step back in time at this 1880s miner’s cottage in historic Moonta Mines. Built over 140 years ago and extended in the early 1900s by the man who built many Yorke Peninsula roads, it still features the dining room, kitchen and bathroom he added. Lovingly owned for 12+ years and renovated twice, the cottage blends original stone walls and low doorways with modern comforts, a cozy wood fire, a well-equipped indoor & outdoor kitchen, and a big backyard perfect for BBQs under the dark night stars.

No roads between the property and the beach with convenient stairway access to beach at the front. Note, a security camera at Sandcastles 1 shed monitors the rear of property where property is entered and rubbish bins are stored for security.

Your family will be close to the beach (3 minute walk) playgrounds and Splash Town when you stay at this centrally located place. Up to date finishes with a large outdoor area. Pet friendly with a kennel available. Has been partially renovated, so there are still some things that need to be finished! However the location is fantastic
