Authentic Herders Mountain Hut on Velika planina

Our hut "Devovčeva bajta" is located at the Herders' settlement of the largest highland pasture in Slovenia - Velika planina in the center of Kamnik Savinja Alps, 30 km north of Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana, on the altitude 1544 m (5066 ft). The Herders settlement is a fairytale like village where life is as it was hundred years ago. Simple huts offer basic shelter for herders and their cows. A unique arhitecture of the settlement and its mountain setting make it one of the biggest attractions in the Slovenian Alps. Perfect for those who: - would like to experience the simple life as it once was, - love cows and mountain flowers, - appreciate tradition and unique mountain architecture, - would like to experience herders life in a mountain "village", - like hiking and biking in the mountains.

Chalet de Mémoire: indoor fire place & sauna

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Made out of natural materials, it offers spectacular views of the mountains and close contact with nature at Big Pasture Plateau (elevation 1666m). It is a cosy space where you can spend quality time with family or friends. Kitchen is well equipped to create culinary delights, and the indoor fireplace creates a perfect atmosphere to hang out or to unwind. To make your stay even more exceptional, sauna and cinema projector are available for use.

Bela II, Robanov kot valley

Apartma Bela is situated in the heart of Robanov kot – the most well preserved glacial valley in Solčava region, located 15 min drive from Logar valley. Calm and cosy suite offers the perfect starting point for hiking, mountaineering or cycling. The apartment is located on the second floor and is the largest of the four apartments in the house, with near identical square footage. Featuring ski-to-door access, Holiday chalet "Alpine dreams" is located in Solčava. A hot tub is available for guests, coupled with a sauna and a Turkish bath. My place lies on the doorstep of Upper Savinjska Valley and is an excellent starting point for excursions throughout the valley. You can go skiing at Golte, visit Logarska valley, adventure park Menina, go hiking, or visit various corners of Slovenia! We are surrounded by meadows and woods, there in no road ahead of us. You can enjoy truth nature and cool off in new pool during the summer. My place is good for couples, business travelers and families (with kids).

Tourist stay Bukovje offers you a private room for 3 people with a large parking lot next to the Mozirje – Logarska Valley main road, only 3 kilometres from Ljubno. You will be served homemade dumplings, žlikrofi, ajdnek (a typical Slovenian dessert), stomach sausage, homemade cheese, sour milk and other dishes a la carte. The area is great for hiking or walking. You can also visit the beautiful Logarska Valley.

Wake up in a hut built with wood from our forest, in an idyllic location. In the morning, from your warm bed, you can gaze through the panoramic glass, and admire the magnificent view of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. In the hut is one double bed with a pull-out extra bed, small kitchen with fridge, outdoor terrace with deck chair. Every hut has its own bathroom in the immediate vicinity (15m-30m).

Relax in the comfort of a mountain cottage on Velika planina, where pure nature meets traditional living. Koča Bistra is a nice, warm and lovely cottage, on one of the best locations for spending a lovely vacation in the middle of the mountains. You have option of Finnish sauna and breakfast in the cottage (extra fee applies). Only mandatory cost is tourist tax.
