Quiet 2-bedroom home with indoor fireplace

2-bedroom, 1.5 bath home is part of a duplex, the other side has a full-time renter. Quiet street, walking distance from restaurants, shopping, etc. in East Vancouver. There is enough parking for 2 cars to fit in tandem in the driveway + plenty of street parking. One bedroom has a K bed and the other is an office space with a trundle bed that can be set up as a T or K and a Q plug-in air mattress. Enjoy time outside on the private back patio or inside with a fire in the wood-burning fireplace.

Our home is light, cheerful, and nearly 2000 sq. ft. The large deck is perfect for barbecues and is nested in trees. The gas fireplace and TV in the family room make it cozy. The full kitchen boasts an island bar and a small kitchen table. Upstairs, the master bedroom includes a queen bed and spacious bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms each contain an antique double bed with a full bathroom in between. A comfortable queen hideabed is downstairs, as well as a half-bathroom.

Walk downtown for restaurants, coffee shops and trendy boutiques or to one of several nature trails that lead to forested areas, lakes and rivers. Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
