Surfside Chalet is light, modern and beach-themed. Many guests comment that it's a real 'home from home' with everything needed. It was my first home so I’ve designed everything to be ‘space saving’. I loved living here and really enjoy welcoming guests to stay and enjoy the beautiful local area too. It is perfectly located to walk into Mumbles or around the cliff path to Langland Bay. Plus you’re only a short car journey away from the scenic areas of natural beauty that Gower has to offer.

Just a stone’s throw away from the seafront, this little cottage has everything you need for a perfect stay in the picturesque village of Mumbles. Named after the gorgeous sea views from the top terrace. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy a glass of wine after a busy day exploring the Gower Peninsula. This quiet street is only a few minutes walk to the bars, restaurants and shops. It is just over a mile to the stunning beaches of Langland and Rotherslade. This really is the perfect spot!

The 3 bedrooms all have smart TVs as does the lounge & open plan kitchen. WiFi throughout. There is a well equipped kitchen & utility. 2 bathrooms & a luxurious lounge. We swapped our lovely Narrowboat on the Grand Union for a cosy, pet friendly chalet for two with a distinct Narrowboat feel. Ideal for surfers and walkers, small, but perfectly formed with all the romance of a live aboard by the seaside. This land locked chalet has everything you could possibly need, tucked away between the Mumbles Cricket Club and the world famous Wales Coastal path. Direct Private access to the Coastal Path nearby, at the top of the road for Guests and Residents.

Waterfront Suite in our Townhouse

Your space is on the ground floor of our sea-front home in Mumbles, offering uninterrupted views of Swansea Bay. From the suite, you can see Mumbles Lifeboat Station to the right and Oystermouth Castle to the left. The suite features a king-size bed, corner sofa (also a sofa bed), full size fridge, table and chairs, a work desk, storage, shower room, 50” TV, and WiFi. Trampoline at the back. Please note, no cooking facilities are provided but we do have bowls, plates, glasses etc.

“Cosy Cottage” in the heart of Mumbles Village

Beautiful seaside cottage in the heart of picturesque Mumbles Village. Local shops, restaurants and pubs are within a few minutes walking distance. Plenty of wonderful beaches nearby including Langland, Rotherslade and Caswell and numerous coastal walks. There is a promenade from Mumbles to Swansea which is about a 5 mile walk. The Gower peninsula is a 20 minute drive away. The cottage is entirely self-contained and has its own outdoor area with a table and seating.

The lovely Village of Mumbles is also only a stroll down the road, bustling with some lovely boutique shops, coffee shops and wine bars.

Please be aware that vehicular access to this listing is via a private road with 3/4 of a mile of VERY BUMPY potholes. The first thing visitors notice is “the view”. The Bunkhouse offers a unique perspective on secluded Pwlldu Bay. Atop limestone cliffs, The Bunkhouse is nestled in Wales’ first AONB. Retreat from the bustle of city life, pause and connect with the wild, and relax to the sound of the sea as the Gower coast unfolds before you.
