This is a stylish log cabin located in a pristine wooded area at an altitude of 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) in Iizuna, Nagano. The home is the perfect retreat for couples, families or small groups. It features a wood burning stove, large TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo, leather chairs, and full kitchen. Enjoy hiking, skiing, BBQ, golf or hot spring onsen baths in the area. The home is approximately a 20-minute drive from Nagano Station on the JR Hokuriko Shinkansen bullet train and Shinano Railway.

Limestone villa, Onsen with snow view 182㎡

Located in the heart of Hakuba Valley, this natural stone villa was newly built, nestled among the trees in a holiday homes area. It overlooks the Japanese Northern Alps. The backyard deck view of the birds’ daily visit to the birdbath will make you feel healed and relaxed. If you are interested, there is an introduction video linked in our last photo (floor plan). 4 to 10 min drive to 5 major ski slopes, and 1 to 8 min drive to convenient stores, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.

If you are looking for a place with personality, Wonderland is it! Living up to its name, the innovative architecture and inspired interior design of this artist’s home promises to surprise and delight every guest that walks through its doors. It was originally built as a company house in the eighties. We purchased this little place in 2019 and have preserved much of the original feel, but hope that you find the renovations have made the house convenient and comfortable for your stay.

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
