Historic sandveld house

The "Tina Turner" house is located in a beautifully restored building typical of the Sandveld region of the Western Cape. It is located on our family farm, Wagenpad and offers a peaceful retreat for up to three guests. This house is a perfect blend of modern comfort and authenticity. It is an ideal getaway for anyone looking to escape the rush of the city and immerse themselves in the beauty of the countryside. The farm has Cape mountain Zebra, Springbok and Bontebok guests are likely to see.

SUGARBIRD HOUSE EDENVELDT FARM

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Winter brings the snow on the beautiful hiking mountains. Guest farm campsite at main river. No Wifi. No towels.

Lonely Planet Cottage, Enjo Nature Farm, Cederberg

Lonely Planet Cottage is situated near a lone tree at the base of our beautiful Oskloof mountain amphitheatre with unspoiled views of the Biedouw Valley. Approx. 2km from the farmhouse & 100% off-grid, (solar & gas power), it is reachable by farm track, 4x4 or 4x2 with high ground clearance. It offers absolute privacy, no noise or light pollution plus the finest stargazing under our dark Cederberg night sky. Shepherd's cottage with firepit, outdoor daybed and private spring-fed splash pool.

Tortoise Terrace - The Storytellers, Rocklands

Tortoise Terrace @ The Storytellers is situated on beautiful piece of Cederberg wilderness. Spend time switching off and connecting to nature. The space is is simple, quirky, comfortable and close-to-nature (glamping style between the rocks, in a furnished safari tent with private bathroom and kitchen). There is a luxury safari tent which sleeps two in a double bed and two in bunks, plus a simple but comfy cabin with bathroom and kitchen. A lovely outdoor deck gives you space to chill.

This Unit is an open plan Unit with a king size bed at the bottom and two single beds on the loft, All open plan. A full bathroom, a fully kitchen fitted kitchen, double door fridge, 4-plate gas hob. Unit is fitted with a smart Tv for streaming. Free Wi-Fi is available for the guests. Aircon and a swimming pool, private only for this unit. An outside Braai next to the Swimming Pool. Free parking. PLEASE NOTE! No outside guests are allowed without permission and will be charge a fee.

Handvol Gruis Guesthouse

The perfect farmstay getaway, safe and quiet. Nestled between the Hantam Mountains. The house is rustic and old but has everything you need with two inside fireplaces as well as a lovely stoep. Its ideal spot for a family holiday with beautiful nature surrounding the house. Hiking, bird watching and cycling are some of the things to keep you busy. 28km from the Klipwerf turn off. We are off the grid with no electrical kitchen appliances other than a frigde and freezer and gasstove.

Klipkop High Mountain Stone Cottage

The farm's fourth cottage is built of rock between two boulders. The interior is very comfortably furnished with ceder-clad walls and ceder floors, two comfortable 3/4 beds, a fireplace, kitchenette and a bathroom clad in rock with sliding doors opening onto the landscape. The cottage faces north with a view of Sneeuberg. There is a large sliding door opening onto the patio with a retractable awning and a braai to enjoy the extraordinary views in every direction.

Homestead

This Cape Dutch-style farmhouse overlooks our vineyards and has two queen rooms with en-suite bathrooms and an open plan living area with a kitchen and dining area. Upstairs is a dormitory-style loft under the thatched roof with four single beds with a bathroom at the foot of the stairs. Facilities include portable fans for summer; outside built in braai and a gas heater for the colder times and free Wi-Fi. Perfect for a group booking or family getaway.

Set in a private nature reserve, this home away from home offers all your creature comforts whilst allowing you to relax and reset off the beaten track. This historical farm style cottage is filled with character and beautiful furnishings, but most importantly it is surrounded by incredible nature in an unforgettable and tranquil setting.

This is a newly renovated home with spacious accommodation on a large plot. One side of the building backs onto an olive orchard while the front boasts a lovely stoep and garden with stunning views over the adjacent farm to the Hantam mountains. You will be treated to unforgettable sunsets and may even be woken by sheep on the farm...
