＜アクセス＞ JR城端線「城端」駅より１０分 各方面にバス便あり ・世界遺産バスで白川郷・五箇山の合掌造り集落」へ。 ・白川郷を経由して飛騨高山へ。 ・城端駅から南砺金沢バスで金沢駅へ。 ＜詳細＞ 越中城端　荒町庵へようこそ 国登録有形文化財（建築物） 荒町庵は明治後期に建てられたました。かつては「米田楼」と呼ばれた料理屋でした。間口２間４尺、奥行き６間の木造２階建ての町家で、戦後一部が増築されています。 屋根は明治～大正期の北陸の町家に多く見られる「登り梁形式」と呼ばれるもので、深くせり出した軒下に縁を設けています。縁のガラス障子に黄・緑の色付型ガラスが嵌められ、料理屋らしい華やいだ雰囲気を醸し出しているのが特徴的です。 戦前、曳山祭の巡行は夕刻にこの荒町に。町一番の歓楽街で、所望※を受けた若連中は胸をはずませこれを勤めていました。見物人も多くここを通り過ぎるのに２時間余かかる大変な賑わいでした。 この艶やかな趣の残る歴史的古民家「荒町庵」で、越中城端の豊かなひと時をお過ごしください。 ※所望（しょもう）：曳山巡行の折、祝儀を出して家の前で庵屋台を留め、庵唄を聞くこと。

This is a renovated Gassho house, 350 years old, offered as a whole-house rental. The house has supported many lives over time, and its original structure remains largely unchanged. It is not a finished modern space, but one where traces of time and the natural texture of wood are still felt. Cold drafts and creaking sounds are part of its character. Staying here may feel less like a hotel, and more like life in a lived-in home. If we explained everything, it would probably become boring.

It is a lender of an old private house, scattered village of 100 years in Toyama Construction. No meals are provided, but please use kitchen or American size barbecue set freely. This Taisho-era house, once a shop, home, and storehouse, is now a guesthouse. We can share its history if you are interested. Some original items remain. The storehouse is now a small sake bar. We offer free sake tasting, or tea and sweets. Local people also visit on weekends. Two major shrines are within walking distance. Tsurugi and Nomachi Stations are 30 minutes apart by train. Kanazawa Station is 40–50 minutes from Tsurugi, with a transfer.
