CILBRWYN is a former Gamekeeper's Residence, set in 3 acres of woodlands, waterfalls, shrubbery and lawns with super views. Guests are encouraged to browse around the gardens, and enjoy the on-site facilities and wildlife. Tastefully restored CILBRWYN offers the discerning client a quiet yet secure countryside retreat, yet is just 15 mins. to M4 and local villages, and 30 mins to the Gower Peninsular / Brecon Beacons. Bob and Olha would like all guests to feel relaxed in their beautiful home.

Your stay -a little bit of home from home

The property is in the semi-rural village of Glais , 5 minutes off Junction 45 on the M4. Being close to the M4 corridor it gives easy access to the Brecon Beacons, Gower peninsula, Pembrokeshire Cardiff and Swansea (15 mins). The village has two local inns both of which provide meals The location is particularly handy for the Liberty Stadium and Singleton Park As well as the two public houses in the village, Clydach is a 15 minute walk and has several restaurants, wine bars or takeaways .

Room 6, family suite for 4 and a lounge area

This 4 star graded Family suite has views over Margam Park and is a short drive from Afan Forest. This family room can be split into 4 single beds or left as a superking and 2 singles. It will sleep a family of 4 or 4 single people. This room is ideal for mountain bikers, golfers or people who like to share. The room has a separate shower room, and a small lounge area so mums can relax after bedtime. It has Freeview TV, free WiFi for guests and tea and coffee making facilities.

Cartref is a mid terraced stone built cottage. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a large comfortable lounge with a small dining area, a fully fitted kitchen.Check in after 3pm,check out before 11am. Unfortunately we do not allow pets in the cottage.There is on street parking outside the cottage but is on a first come basis.If you arrive and no parking just put a note on windscreen to say you are in the cottage with arch over front door .

Private Bedroom in peaceful rural location

A spacious south facing bedroom with lovely pasture and hillside views. There is a double bed with king size duvet and plenty of storage and easy chairs. The bathroom is next to the bedroom. Guests have use of kitchen facilities and a Sitting Room with open fireplace and TV. This is a small farm with a herd of Native breed British White cattle Lots of geese ducks and chickens that provide a breakfast egg if you desire! I also have three great dogs Elsa, Millie and Maisie.

Escape to Greenacre Cabin, a charming rural glamping retreat in a traditional Welsh valley, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Set on our small holding near the stables and barn, the cabin offers an authentic countryside experience. Wake to sheep grazing outside, enjoy breakfast on the private veranda, and watch horses roaming the fields. Fresh eggs from our free-range chickens and seasonal garden produce add to the charm of this relaxing Welsh countryside escape.

Greenacre Hideaway with private hot tub

Tucked away on our peaceful smallholding, this cosy shepherd’s hut offers the perfect countryside retreat. A short stroll behind the barn takes you over a charming sleeper bridge and up a few steps, where your private hideaway awaits. Overlooking open fields where our horses graze, the hut is surrounded by nature and completely secluded—ideal for a quiet escape or romantic getaway. (Please note the walk is approximately 50meters and uphill.)

Double room in Waterfalls/Brecon Beacons

Set amongst the beautiful waterfall country, on the border of the Brecon beacons & surrounded by country fields. You are spoilt for choice with walks on the doorstep, cycle paths, waterfalls, plenty of attractions & country pubs. Our house is a lovingly renovated semi detached Edwardian property. We have a cat and a small friendly dog called Coco (kept downstairs). We are happy to give you privacy, but also available if you need assistance.

We provide an organic continental breakfast including home made bread, home made yogurt, granola and fruit salad. Fresh tea and coffee is always on hand. Please note that there is no TV in the room but we have good WiFi for your devices. We would hope that your stay with us would be summarised by there being a good bed, good food and good conversation!

My place is close to Swansea, 20 minutes by car. Pontardawe has an Arts Centre with theatre, cinema and Cafe. You’ll love my place because it's the quirky home of an artist and her husband. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
