From parking to home there are 5 stair cases & 112 steps, it's sadly not for mobility reduced individuals. If available, we ca help with your bags. Nelson is a very special city. It has many restaurants and store that offer organic foods as well as vegan options. Lots of artists and galleries to shop from or simply to visit.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Blue Heron micro Beach House (A-Frame)

Relax in this charming and newly renovated micro suite with your own private beach. This 400 square-foot A-frame includes your own private beach for peace and tranquility. Location is off the main highway so easy to find and very accessible but does have some highway noise. Some accessibility issues with the stairs to the loft bedroom and the 200 meter walk down to your private beach. The path winds through a small cedar forest and over the creek bridge. A little bit of forest bathing.

Directly across from the entrance to Ainsworth Hot Springs and situated on Kootenay lake. The suite is spacious and features incredible lake and mountain views, a private deck, a fully equipped kitchen, and private access to a secluded beach. It is the perfect, quiet get-away. Longbeach suites, located on the west arm of Kootenay Lake 21 kms north of Nelson BC providing 171 ft. of beach front. We have two separate suites available on the upper level of our home overlooking the beach.
