Bourbon trail getaway in historic downtown Bardstown. Enjoy this entire home during your stay in the "Most Beautiful Small Town in America." Cottage located on a quiet side street. Walking distance to My Old Kentucky Home Dinner Train, Restaurants, Bars, Coffee and Fabulous Boutique Shops. Parking for 3 vehicles. 1 queen bed downstairs. 1 queen bed upstairs & 1 full-size bed upstairs. Brand new renovated bathroom downstairs AND renovated bathroom upstairs. Home is not handicap accessible.

The Getaway in Bourbon Country with Breakfast

Located in the heart of the Bourbon Trail. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living, but still close enough to cities. When you first arrive, you will find the entrance on a large, covered patio. There is a gas grill there for your use. We also have a fire pit, so bring wood. Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. Eggs, bacon and biscuits provided.

Spend a relaxing night in your completely private 1200 sq. ft. apartment above our quaint Soap & Candle Shop (Making Good Scentz). Welcome to the Barton House - your home away from home near the Bourbon trail, wineries, and more! The Barton house gets its name from its close proximity to the Barton 1792 distillery & view of Barton rickhouses from the front door. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood & is a 5 min. drive to the dinner train and quaint streets of downtown Bardstown. It is a short 10 min. drive to many of the distilleries and wineries.
