Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Your whole crew will love the easy access to snowmobile and ATV trails from this centrally located home. Located in Newberry it is a great home base for summer, fall or winter excursions. Large garage. Only an hour from Sault Ste. Marie, Munising, Grand Marias, Kitch-iti-kipi "natural spring" and less to Upper Tahquamenon Falls brewery and Lower falls, Paradise shipwreck museum and Oswald's Bear Ranch. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!
