If you choose to stay in, we have 9 acres of beautiful unspoiled land to explore. Spend evenings in our barn Billiard Room with TV’s and Poker/Game Table.

R & R Creekside Cottage

Beautiful cottage with gorgeous mountain views and bordered by a trout stocked branch of the East/South Fork New River near Parkway in Boone! Located within 5 minutes of Boone Golf Course, restaurants, shopping and Appalachian State University. Our cottage offers 2 spacious bedrooms with tvs, a laundry room and 1 bathroom. It has a cozy living room with a gas log fireplace and huge tv! The kitchen is fully equipped with a gourmet coffee bar! We also offer Nestle Cottage next door if needed.

Cabin in the Clouds

Cabin in the Clouds is a beautiful, one bedroom vacation home in a secluded, private community that's very quiet and has been renovated in 2023. The bathroom was completely remodeled, new living room furniture, new marble top dining room table, refurbished bedroom, new floors. There's a beautiful view from our porch that has deck furniture and propane grill. Inside is an open layout with open beam ceiling and pine paneling. Black Mountain is a quaint vacation town, you will love this place.

Located only 2 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can enjoy a fun filled family day exploring the beautiful scenery and trails. Check out shops and restaurants in the quaint town of Banner Elk within a 15 minute drive. The Cottage is self check in, pet friendly, and fully equipped with all of your basic needs, including Wi-Fi and a Roku TV. Early 2 PM check-in for $25 if available—request in advance!

Welcome to the Mothership, an octagonal post and beam cottage built for those with a love of the outdoors. Located on our small farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we are a perfect launching point for adventure. Lake James and the Linville Gorge are only 20 minutes away, Asheville 45 minutes, and Charlotte only an hour. Explore countless waterfalls, miles of trails, or kayak our beautiful rivers during the day, and relax in the hot tub and shoot pool in the evening.

Hosted by Flying Squirrel Cottages, Blue Ridge Bungalow is nestled in the highlands of NC in a small resort community of Linville Land Harbor. Linville River flows through the community and a dam creates a small peaceful lake that has a pool, beach area, & canoe / paddle board launch. Just beyond the lake is a community golf course. This cottage is very cozy with easy parking access. We just added a new hot tub to the cottage for your enjoyment!
