This lovely and unique cottage, a 200 year old stone barn restoration, has tons of character, original features and loads of up-to-date amenities, making it comfortable and cosy all year round. Set off a quiet country lane, surrounded by green fields and only a short drive from lovely beaches. Strangford village is 2 miles away, so not far to great pubs and restaurants. Castle Ward NT estate and Winterfell (GOT) are even closer. If you are looking for peace, quiet and space - this is the place!

The Barn

The Barn is a charming 2 storey restored stone barn set in 1.5 acres of private garden with mature trees on an elevated site in the foothills of the Mournes. The barn is 4 miles from Dromara, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the source of the River Lagan and 4 miles from Ballynahinch. Take time to detach from the world and enjoy a break nestled in a cosy self-catering cottage, perfect for hikers, cyclists, film crew or wedding guests at local venues like Montalto Estate or Larchfield.

Moira Barn 2 Bedroom Cottage S.Catering

My pet friendly place is 1 km from the historic Georgian village of Moira,(Hillsborough Rd)and 20 minutes drive to Belfast.The 2* barn is a traditional converted stone building with exposed beams and has a very rustic feel.The accommodation is on the second floor and is accessed via granite stone steps.There is 2 bedroom and a fold up bed(sleeps 4 in total).There is a bathroom ,walk in hot press and a large open plan fully equipped kitchen and living room with a 50inch smart t.v. and WiFi.

Converted stone barn adjacent to farmhouse in lovely countryside close to Strangford Lough, yet only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Self-catering, open plan accommodation. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.

A comfortable spacious 3 bedroom ground floor home with access to large secure garden and play area. Part of an 18th Century corn and flax mill renovation project. A large family and dining area looks out on the garden and river. There are 8 acres of natural woodland, private meadow and river to enjoy and explore. There is an outdoor kitchen with BBQ and Pizza oven to enjoy alfresco dining all year round. One of our converted Barns are available for family functions and celebrations.

Granny Aggie's Parlour, it's worth the trip...

Granny Aggie's Parlour is a lovely barn conversion situated in Drumbally between the beautiful hamlets of Glassdrummond and Creggan just outside the village of Crossmaglen and still only 10 minutes drive off the Dublin to Belfast motorway at Dundalk. Lovely location to explore South Armagh, North Louth and Monaghan. Beautifully converted self catering property with two double bedrooms which can sleep 5, a bathroom and open plan kitchen/living room with modern conveniences.

The Old Barn @ Embrace Holistic Centre

This unique first floor accommodation, built in 1868, still has its original wooden beams and staircase and was converted in 1985 for the current owners. Set in 95 acres of woodland, with short walks for our guests only. The barn sleeps max. 3 people upstairs, and a twin bedroom is available downstairs (at an additional cost), but the downstairs twin bedroom with its en-suite toilet and wash basin is for adults and older children only, as it has a separate entrance.

Refurbished Stone Barn in County Down

Refurbished 2 bedroom barn offering comfortable self catering accommodation. There is generous private parking available, a fully contained garden and bbq area. A separate utility/wet room and a locked store for guest use. The barn is furnished to a very high standard and tastefully decorated. Gracey's barn is situated in an excellent location close to the Mourne Mountains and Slieve Gullion, 40 minutes from Belfast and 70 minutes from Dublin City Centre.

The Barn - Hillsborough

A converted barn, a wonderful space for a couple as cosy but also for a family as has a large kitchen. Just outside Hillsborough (2 miles) enjoy the peace of the countryside whilst not being too far from the sights. (Belfast 30 mins, Dublin 1hr 30mins, North Coast, Giants Causeway, 1hr 30mins). Larchfield Estate, wedding venue, 5 minutes drive away. You have complete privacy from us but if you need any advice while here we are just across the yard.
