Our large garden backs on to the mature woodlands of Kirroughtree Forest, famous for its recreational offering including bike shop and cafe, walking trails, and home to one of the 'seven stanes' mountain biking sites. Closeby are miles of coastline, hills, and spectacular scenery, ideal for that perfect getaway.

Kirkcudbright has a bustling community and runs events throughout the year including Farmer Markets, Floodlit Tattoo and Festival of Light which ends with a spectacular firework display.

It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. A well behaved dog is welcome, the house is fully fenced (1.3m high at lowest point) and there are dog walking areas at the doorstep and a children's play park 50m away.
