A 35km se encuentra playa Carrillo, y a menos de 50km Punta Islita, el refugio de Vida Silvestre Camaronal, Playa Corozalito y Samara. Hojancha posee la catarata más alta de Centroamérica con 350 metros de altura, catarata Salto del Calvo se ubica a 14 km de la cabaña. La Zona es ideal para practicar senderismo y running.

Tiene dos ventanales que permiten mirar el paisaje que en la lejanía alcanza el mar, pasando por encima de la huerta casera que le pertenece.
