The house is one block away from beautiful Lake Pontchartrain, with walking/bike paths, kayaking, water sports, and several of Louisiana’s most magnificent live oak trees. We are conveniently located across the street from LaLou restaurant; open daily serving breakfast at 7:30am. Numerous restaurants, shops, entertainment and the St Tammany Trace are just steps away! The Balcony Suite is an intimate space with a private bathroom. It was recently Restored/Renovated with new furnishings and fixtures. Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM. If you need to go to bed early, we might not be a good fit. Uniquely located, close to the Garden District, Arts/Museum District, French 1/4 and the Conventional Center

Our sophisticated shotgun style home is conveniently located near the French Quarter & only one block to Frenchmen St/Esplanade Ave; highly walkable, fun, active area! Unwind in the courtyard and let the distant sounds of Jazz bands have you saying "Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!". Free first come first serve street parking and metered/paid parking in the area. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you will find free parking due to the activity of the French Quarter.

Cook a great meal in our spacious kitchen or relax in the shaded backyard with a cocktail before heading out to the French Quarter.

1 BD Suite B or 2 BD Garden District

High ceilings with intricate plaster detail are featured in an antebellum mansion home built in 1851 which sits right in front of the streetcar/trolley stop. A great experience to be right there on "the Avenue" under the 250 year old oak trees. You can take our self guided walking tour through the Garden District and see one home after another built in 1800's, with names of architect (if known), year built and who lived there.
