The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

Thala - Thala

Country living with all the amenities you will enjoy in the city. A secure thatch chalet build from rock. Situated on a 21ha bush veld farm. Lots of bird life Impala, Blesbok and giraffe roaming around. 1 Bedroom with queen size bed and bathroom on suite. Open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen dining room and lounge with queen size double sleeper couch and Dstv. Cool veranda amongst trees. Beautiful terraced garden with (boma) barbecue area. Under cover parking. Pool recently added.

Stone Cottage at Dombeya Farm

An enchanted stone cottage in Mpumalanga located within a magical farm setting, surrounded by giant trees alive with birdsong. 3 hours drive from Johannesburg. 45minutes from Mbombela, Nelspruit. 15 mins from Ngodwana. An ideal location for nature walks, dips in the river, and sundowners at twilight. Relish your evenings in front of the fire with a gentle lullaby sung by hooting owls. Collect your farm fresh eggs from Matilda 🐔 and enjoy your coffee in Ebba's 👩‍🌾 vegetable garden.

Holingsberg River Fly Fishing Cottage

Holingsberg River Cottage is an exclusive Self Catering River Fly Fishing destination for the serious Fly Fisher The chalet is upmarket and private, and situated on a working farm yard. The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front, and a fishing pond around 1km away. Enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch or trail ride of the day. The cottage has solar back-up.

Hackle Lodge

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge

Ilanga Game and Fishing Lodge is a self-catering lodge located on top of a hill, in Dullstroom Country Estate. Ideal for a family or group looking for comfortable lodging with serene views, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests can do bass or trout fishing at the dams, Game drives, bird watching, cycling or just enjoy the stunning view from the house of the country site. There is full cellphone reception at the house. a High rise vehicle is recommended and a 4x4 when wet.

Beautiful place to re-connect with nature, open spaces & big skies. Trout dams on property, space for long walks, hikes & mountain biking. 8km on a dirt road from Machadodorp, 30km to Dullstroom.

Tegwaan Country Getway – The Studio

Climb – Hike – Bike – Fish – Relax...Tegwaan is the perfect place to stay if you want access to a lot of fun outdoor activities while staying in a comfortable place! Immersed in nature, Tegwaan is a little ecosystem of its own: with fresh water springs, several fish ponds and a creek, the grass is always green, the trees are tall and the birds are happy! :-). The Studio is a big open plan room, ideal for couples or families who want a bit more space than a tiny house.

Shooters Hill, Walkersons Estate

Shooters Hill is situated in the well renowned Walkersons Private Estate. Walkersons has some of the best trout waters in the Mpumalanga Highlands and aside from fishing, offers mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding, spa treatments, bar and restaurant. The house is well appointed and fully serviced. Three of the 4 bedrooms have fireplaces. We recently installed Solar and batteries to run the essential loads in the house. The house also has a gas stovetop.

Kigelia Game Farm & Lodge

Kigelia game farm is the ideal bush breakaway for the discerning guest, who seeks exclusive use, total privacy and self- catering luxury for a group of 8 people. Little Rock is serviced daily, with a fully equipped farm style kitchen with everything needed to make your stay enjoyable. Little Rock offers it’s own private pool and bar - Dusk 2 Dawn. Little Rock is situated less than 12k's from the iconic rest stop Milly's and is only 30k's away from the quaint village of Dullstroom.
