The CONFORZI LAKE HOUSE & CONFORZI BEACH HOUSE are self-catering lake-shore houses on an amazing property on one of the largest beaches on lake malawi. The property has been in the Conforzi family since 1958. The Lake house (sleeps 14) has an infinity pool and is one of the oldest colonial houses on the lake, immersed in a breathtaking garden that is full of enormous ancient trees populated with colourful animals of all kinds. Gateway Cottages are clean, safe, affordable, basic and environmental friendly accommodation situated on the Gateway Transformation Campus, Chirombo village, Monkey Bay, Malawi. Follow the M10 from Mangochi to Cape MacClear, and turn right at the turn-off the Cape MacClear at the Engergen Filling station on your left. Turn right on the gravel road into the village towards the Lake. Find our sign board 2 km from the turn off on the left, Gateway Transformation Center/Guesthouse.

We are located between Mangochi and Monkeybay giving us the Vantage point in a small but very rich with scenic view. We have modern Family friendly apartments with a swimming pool, our Beach is very Calm and very clean overlooking the lake Malawi game reserve. This apartment is self catering. Joe’s Annex Cottage is cosy house with spacious rooms, a beautiful garden with camping space. There’s also a beautiful outside sitting area for those hot days with lots of local games available and a BBQ stand of course for the daily fresh catch of the famous tiger fish Kampanje. It is located on the village street of Cape Maclear, 20m from the lake with a private beach. Closer by is Kayak Africa and amenities just outside the compound.

Mbondo Cottage is located on one of the most tranquil bays along Lake Malawi’s western shores offering perfect sunrises. Wake up to birdsong and fishermen coming in with their catch in time for a lunch of Chambo (tilapia), take a walk along the beautiful beach. The shallow waters of the shoreline also offer some relaxing swimming. Catch a drink as the sun sets. Trips to Lake Malawi National Park and Cape Maclear can be arranged.

Sungeni Cottage @马拉维湖

A lovely beachfront home with wonderful sunrise and sunset views, set amongst a vibrant fishing community. The cottage has a lush garden with mature local trees with a baby-friendly swimming pool. Two rooms have double beds, one a convertible three-quarter bed, one two singles, plus 2 bathrooms—one with bath/shower, one with shower.
