THE STRAND

The house has a magnificent location right at the North Atlantic Ocean, view to the endless horizon and shifting colors of sea and sky. Facing the lighthouse and wild mountains. 5 minutes walk to Whalesafari, Sea Safari etc. It is a fisher family home (1946), fully equipped and renovated. Some furniture from past are kept, such as cabinets made by my father. Huge garden and deck. Perfect for walks along the stretching white sandy beach. Suitable for single travellers, couples and families.

Liv's House in Bøvær, Senja

Liv's house is situated by the end of the road - in Bøvær - close to a 750 m long beach. Here you will find "Kråkeslottet" - where conserts and exhibitions take place in the summer. Hiking routes start 750m from the house. The whole fjord is perfect for paddling and fishing. The supermarket, restaurant and local pub is 5 km away. The famous hiking route to Husfjellet - "The Queens Path" - starts from the church in Skaland. Bøvær is perfect for relaxing and exploring nature of Senja island.

Located by the long whitesand beach stretcing down the west coast of town, in walking distance to all the must-see-places. In wintertime perfect for a view of the northern lights and going whalewatching. The apartment has it's own enterance from the stairwell. Leiligheten var i gamle dager et «Ishus», det stedet man oppbevarte is som man trengte for å legge rundt fisken før den ble lastet på båter og seilt sørover. Dette er en veldig hyggelig og lun leilighet med alt du trenger for et godt opphold ytterst ved havet i Vesterålen.

My place is near the sea, family-friendly activities, nightlife, nature and the airport. You will love my place because of the view, the location and the atmosphere. One can enjoy the silence. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, business travelers and families (with children). It is about 200 meters to walk from parking to the cottage.
