Our lakefront home "Ole Charleston" sits in a quiet cove with year-round water and a private boat dock with slip. Convenient location just 1 mile off Maynardville Highway down Hickory Valley Road. Beach Island Marina is only a couple miles away to launch your boat. They offer boat and jet ski rentals and Boathouse 33 (Bubba Brews) Restaurant which features live bands and corn hole. We are only 6 miles to Food City and Dollar General in Maynardville and 30 minutes to downtown Knoxville

Recently renovated, A Shore Thing has a gentle, no-steps slope to the main channel shoreline of Cove Creek on Norris Lake. This 2.5-story contemporary lakehouse getaway offers 4 bedrooms (including a huge bunkroom – a favorite with the kids) and 2.5 baths. Game room with ping pong, pool table, and foosball. Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
