My 1906 little house is completely restored farmhouse that my great grandparents brought to our property during the depression. Our guest cottage is tucked away behind the main house where we live. It has original shiplap boards in the open living room and kitchenette with beautiful pine floors throughout the 700 square-foot house. There is a separate bedroom with 12 foot lofted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight throughout. We know you will feel good the moment you walk through the door.

Remotely located 30 minutes from Cashiers, NC and 45 minutes from Highlands, NC. This is the perfect place to relax, disconnect & immerse yourself into nature. From the cabin take a short hike to the national forest, hiking trails, waterfalls, and the Chattooga River. You can park at the cabin and enjoy nature without driving to other locations. Pets are welcome (fee per stay). If your looking for a peaceful , REMOTE get away this is for you. AWD OR 4WD is needed to park near the house.

The little house is next to a 2 acre pond(that fluctuates), in a small neighborhood, 15 minutes from Brevard and Rosman. Upstairs is a covered porch with a bench, and down stairs is another covered porch with a swing and laundry room. Inside is a Queen bed, full kitchen, and a three-quarter bathroom. Pet friendly. Fire pit. This is the only house on the pond, and you will have your own dock. DISCLAIMER: THE POND IS LOW & OUT OF MY CONTROL! East Fork River, Dupont, and Pisgah Forest are nearby.

The suite offers eight acres of woods with a trail, a courtyard with grill and pizza oven, fire pit, an area for sun bathing and for lawn games and an incredible wildscaping. It provides all you need for your wellbeing like forest bathing, earthing, quiet retreats, nature connection, peaceful time and lots of books to read. The suite is next to the main house, with a private bathroom and its own entrance, front yard and small pond. It is completely isolated from noise and the view of others.

There is a single carport and circle driveway . The property is conveniently located near Mitchell River, hiking trails, vineyards, and only 3 miles from I-77.

The suite has a new independent "HVAC air & vent system", totally separate from our HVAC system, so our Guests have complete temperature control.
