Come and relax in our cozy studio perfect for a couple. Your space is private and filled with all the ammenities you could ask for. There is a small kitchenette that is fully equipped, a living room to enjoy complimentary beverages and freshly baked cookies. The bedroom has quality sheets, darkening shades and a sound machine to help you sleep. Outside you have your own private entrance and patio for enjoying a morning of bird watching. We do live up on a hill but there is room to turn around.

After being Super Hosts for over a decade...We're Back! Helene' made a mess of one of our mountains while barely touching the other. Fortunately the long range panoramic views Helene' opened were worth the effort it took to clear the downed trees from the miles of hiking trails. The untouched mountain provides an interesting before and after contrast to the power of Mother Nature, along with the amazing pace of her recovery. In many ways our woods are prettier than ever. The Hunt House was the beautiful home of Dr. Robert Lee Hunt of Lattimore, NC. It is on 6 acres of pasture and only 3.8 miles from the Washburn Switch Industrial Park. The house is fully furnished with 5 Handmade heart pine, cherry, and walnut bedroom suites, and has 5 bathrooms. The house has hardwood floors in most rooms, and antique furniture throughout the house. The house has a functional fireplace, and a large porch with 8 rocking chairs, that overlook the yard.

We have a gravel, long, steep driveway (AWD\FWD ARE RECOMMENDED) & we’re tucked in down at the bottom of a 10 acre forest. Provençal Farm Experience at Mount Gilead Farm

Welcome to Mount Gilead Farm! We are a family-run working goat dairy and farm with lots of animals and even more stories. We offer a Provençal style room complete with a queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, a kitchenette, and Netflix. The patio out front has a picnic table and wonderful views of animals in pastures complete with the sound of our babbling brook. Check out our outdoor shower and fire pit too!
