Country Guesthouse

A quiet, tidy little craftsman home 20 miles from the Mt. Baker National Forest and 40 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The Middle Fork of the Nooksack and it's wildlife is a short walk to the north. We have a strict cancellation policy but we are really pretty accommodating. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay we will bank those lost funds for future use at any available time in the future. A final note: we require that you be vaccinated and boosted. Hope you understand.

Restored from the early 1900's. This cozy cabin sits right above the Howard Miller Steelhead Park on the Skagit River. The Rockport Bar and Grill is next door. We are just a minute off of highway 20, also known as The North Cascade Highway. There is a Futon for an extra guest. We now have air conditioning! This listing is not wheelchair accessible. This listing is also not suitable for children under the age of 12, there are safety issues in the area.

Sauk Valley homestead in the North Cascades

This is a great spot to decompress from society and heal. The cabin is centrally located on some acreage with me on-site off State route 20. There's hiking destinations in every direction! I'm happy to be a sort of tour guide and provide info on special places to see and where to eat and drink if you'd like. It's the perfect place to spend one night as you're passing through the Skagit Valley or to use as your base camp for several days while you explore the mountains and the river in this gorgeous area.
