Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

Relax watching the endless stars from the outdoor bath or enjoy reading a book and glass of wine snuggled on the couch. Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

Tara Valley Cabin

A boutique, sun-drenched and special hideaway set on 5 acres of permaculture tranquility. Your own three private cabins are nestled near 800 year old trees and joined with decks and pathways for you to wander and discover your bath. The bedroom opens out to a covered deck, and the full kitchen has a covered area with a large outdoor dining table and gas BBQ. Up the steps to the bathroom with a fresh, waterless, European electric toilet. Close to nature, beaches, markets, walks, cafes and fun.

Stunning eco cabin encircled by 90 Mile Beach

Surrounded by nature and encircled by the entire stretch of 90 Mile Beach & Ahipara Shipwreck Bay, enjoy primal sea, sky and forest in a totally private setting. By day see the skies from your bed through floor to ceiling French doors, or from your private deck. Watch the sun across the ocean from the tip of Cape Reinga the northernmost point of NZ - visible from this cabin, then the sunset behind Ahipara. By night enjoy the stars as little light disturbs your view in this hilltop setting.

Waiotoi - The Bush Hideaway - Tutukaka

Enjoy the tranquil and serene environment of the bush, which provides you with a stay that is guaranteed to refresh you. Waiotoi is perched on a lone ridge, which weaves its way towards the coast. The cabin is surrounded by a thick cloak of Manuka which covers the hillsides, giving you a beautiful view out onto the canopy, and beyond, towards the South Pacific. Just admire the natural beauty of the coast, through the bush to Matapouri, it's a slice of paradise, and a rewarding experience.

Relax, pull up a beanbag, and soak in the stunning views with your glass of wine overlooking Hokianga Harbour and its world famous giant sand dunes, or unwind in the Eco Spa as the sun sets and stars come out. Here is something a little different and special. If you are after a relaxing holiday experience surrounded by nature, but want more creature comforts than camping can provide, then this beautiful open plan deck and separate cabin is just for you! Tucked away in a garden oasis, this property has a seaview over Mill Bay and across to the Karikari Peninsula. The spacious covered deck for entertaining includes a fully powered utility with kitchen, bathroom and laundry.

Moonrise was inspired by the movies of Wes Anderson. You will find it down a private country road in a garden filled with many birds who visit from the bush and nearby wetlands. At night the sky is full of stars. We have carefully crafted the cabins to provide a quirky off grid life and a tranquil experience where you can recharge in nature, read or play boardgames. The beach, along with shops and cafes are a 7 minute drive away and bush walks are just up the road.

It has a large open plan living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Its double glazing, full insulation, heat pump/aircon and mosquito screens make this self standing cottage the perfect base to explore all the amazing sights the Bay of Islands has to offer.
