2ish bedrooms 2 bathrooms + breakfast Nr Newcastle

I want to welcome people and their dogs to our home in the village of Rowlands Gill just 8 miles from the centre of Newcastle. I have 2 bright, spacious bedrooms with 2 shower rooms. A complimentary continental breakfast is available in the second bedroom. This room has huge windows looking onto our wood. There are no curtains but it isn’t overlooked. However it can be bright early on summer mornings. The beds are partly separated from the seating by a screen. Many birds and mammals can be seen

Rubislaw B&B Double, Cheviot View airy attic suite

The picturesque village of Town Yetholm is an ideal base to explore the Borders: 200m from St Cuthberts Way; 1km from the Pennine Way; 24 miles from Lindesfarne. Rubislaw rooms have coffee & tea facilities, hair dryer, TV, wifi, gardens, deck & outdoor seating. Rooms have double beds, but an additional single bed or cot can be added on request. If you require 2 rooms our Garden View room may be available. We provide a generous continental breakfast, but we do not have self catering facilities.

Modern, quiet and restful top floor rooms

Modern 3 storey home. Guests have sole use of the rooms on the top floor-comprising lounge with two two seater reclining sofas, TV, Music/DVD players. Bathroom (bath +shower) and w/c, bedroom with a double and a single bed, wardrobe and set of drawers. Guests may use WC, all kitchen facilities and the dining room on the ground floor. Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland are each only about 6 miles away. My house is in a quiet cul de sac and the rear garden backs onto the Coast-coast cycle track

Park View Jesmond (en-suite).

Quiet bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower in award winning designer home, 7 mins walk to Jesmond Metro (3 stops to Central Station and about 25 mins to the Airport). Near the Great North Run start, and about 20 mins walk into town. In the centre of trendy Jesmond, it's a red brick lodge, totally rebuilt in 2016, with a super insulated, modern interior. We also have 2 other rooms, search"Garden View" and "Peace & Quiet". Breakfast (muesli, fruit, toast etc) is included up to 10.00am.

Overlooking the West Allen Valley, a perfect base from which to explore this unspoilt area or to simply stay put and relax. For walkers, Isaac’s Tea Trail runs through the garden. The Coach House - double room, lounge & fireplace

Lovely farmhouse location a short walk from the charming village of Lanchester, full of interesting places to explore and eat. Close to Durham city and University, dales and coast. Bus stop at door and next to cycling and walking routes. Uber taxi service operates here too. A huge garden to enjoy and off road parking. The room is en-suite, a double or twin with private lounge. Guests need to climb a spiral staircase. Hens in garden. Continental breakfast included.

Pry House, Northumberland

Pry is a cosy 18th-century, cottage farmhouse within five acres of wild flowers, a verdant copse and running burn. Near Hadrian’s Wall and medieval Blanchland, Pry lies just south of Hexham and Corbridge, making it the perfect base for exploring Northumberland and beyond. Help is on hand with Steve and Cocker Spaniel Kes. There’s homemade organic breads, rare-breed (even Roman!) eggs and advice on walking, cycling, or casting a fly for salmon and wild trout.

With shops, train station, bars and restaurants just a few mins walk away. Lovely bedroom with small double bed, private lounge, garden room, shared bathroom, use of kitchen and facilities, private garden with open view and sun deck, free parking to front of property.

Tucked away just 300m from Paxton House, Dene Cottage offers 1 double room with luxury bath / shower room in a fairytale setting with woodland walks along the river Tweed. Enjoy this warm and welcoming haven with ample parking for bikes or car. An additional single room is available which is listed separately and is not let, unless agreed, when the double room is taken. This is a ‘b&b’ not a self catering property but good breakfast is included.
