The Aurora Lodge is a 2200 square foot houseboat located on Vee Lake, a 20 minute drive outside of Yellowknife. The lodge has two rooms, each with a queen size bed and a personal heater. The living area includes the kitchen, bar and lounge area with a wood burning fireplace. There is also a front and back deck perfect for aurora viewing. Great view of the dark sky for northern lights viewing in winter from inside or outside on the large deck, or in the yard at the dedicated fire pit. There is also a large professional recording studio on the property.
