Let us welcome you to 100 Acre Wood, a historic farm and working cattle ranch. Owl's House is a private and stylish guest house nestled within the trees and garden and offers 180° views. Our farm store is stocked with our own TX Longhorn beef and pasture-raised chicken and eggs, plus curated with local products. Studio apartment with private entrance overlooking the Thames River. 7 minutes to downtown Mystic. Beautiful sunsets. Has a Queen size bed, small dining table, and desk, Galley kitchen with two burner stove, microwave, refrigerator and kuerig, toaster and toaster oven. Laundry can be used for longer stays (after 4 or more days) Towels and Linens provided. Beach chairs & towels available upon request. Outdoor space equipped with patio furniture, umbrella, and a grill for the warmer months.

Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Fire pit, heated outhouse with composting toilet, outdoor dining area, brook, pond and trail head are just steps away. We also have a TREE HOUSE and HIKER’S HAVEN house by the brook. This home on the Thames River is the ultimate getaway for a family seeking relaxation and outdoor adventures. With five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a comfortable living room with stunning views of the water and private beach. The master bedroom with on suite bathroom, large deck overlooking the river, with direct access to the backyard where you can lounge on the private beach, play lawn games, or take a dip in the river. We have 2 kayaks available for use.

Just a 10-min walk to downtown Mystic and with delightful water views to Tuft’s Cove, Captain Burrows Home is perfect for family and friend gatherings, sleeping 6-7 guests in 3 super comfortable bedrooms!

This cozy seaside cottage with sleep loft has the look and feel of an old classic yacht inside with modern amenities. Couples will love the water views, screened porch, gas-wood stove, heated stone floor in cedar bathroom, outdoor shower and patio. Another larger 2 bedroom cottage on property is for rent also for families with younger children. This rental is NOT suitable for toddlers or children under 12 due to the open balconies, railings and narrow spiral staircase to the loft.

Our two-bedroom cape on the cove is a paradise for any birdwatcher, fisherman, or kayak enthusiast. We are located near any destination you may want (i.e. casinos), yet far enough off the beaten path to enjoy some peace and quiet. Listen to the birds and crickets by the firepit or take out our rentable kayaks for a morning paddle. Dogs welcome too! Pet fee is $50 per stay. Maximum 2 dogs. Maximum of 3 guests. Any unauthorized guest will be charged at $50/each.
