Heron Hangout- perfect for family and friends

The Heron Hangout is a newly renovated home with an astonishing view of the Willapa Bay. The 2466 sq. ft. house sits on 4 plus acres, secluded from neighbors for a peaceful getaway. The Willapa Bay has an abundance of wildlife; it is common to see Blue Heron, ducks, geese, eagles and deer. Boats and dredges used in the oyster and steamer clam industry go past as the tide goes in and out. Venturing out and exploring all that the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer is just a short drive away.

Stay here and listen to the waves! Enjoy all the beauty and fun the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer at this cute little guest studio in a cul-de-sac on quiet dead-end road - not suitable for children under 13. Five minute drive to the beach! The nice private outdoor patio has a covered kitchen, a firepit, BBQ, 4-burner stove top and large sink for cleaning clams/fish. New private loft apartment, 5 blocks from beach!

Close to town, this above garage apartment is just a few blocks from the discovery trail and beach! The cabin next to the garage is occupied by owners, May-October, and at times October-April. We have plenty of extra parking for Rod run cars and fishing boats! All guests are welcome to use clam shovels and guns, as well as boots and bags; all in the garage. Your family will be close everything when you stay at this centrally-located place.

Ilwaco is a small port town on the WA coast with lots of character. The living space of our modern carriage house is upstairs so it's light & cozy, 600sq ft. It's a 2 minute walk to the port & 10 minute bike ride to Cape Disappointment (lots of bikes to use in the garage) and the beach. Upstairs-master bedroom with queen, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Downstairs- bedroom with single over double bunk bed, game closet, and washer/dryer.

Light, bright fun little studio has all you need to enjoy a romantic stay at the beach!
