It is a house, a special place mainly for its architectural forms. Here you can walk and breathe the fresh air, you can see the skies and the moon gaining relevance. Here you can draw, cook, write and read. This house reflects country life, reminding us of the simple but fundamental things in life. The property has two completely independent houses.

Sesmarias Mel is a traditional “Alentejana” style home located amongst the gorgeous rolling hills of the Alentejo region. The 90 ha property is situated just outside the quaint village of Cercal do Alentejo and is surrounded by the meadows and ancient cork-oak trees that are iconic to this part of Portugal. Breakfast is included, served on the patio of nearby Casa Principal 15/6-15/9, breakfast items left in the house the rest of the year, including a fresh sourdough bread delivered to your door every morning.

Monte Carpe Diem is a property with 2.5 hectares (6 acres) located in Baixo Alentejo with a distance of 1km (0.6 miles) from Garvão and 13km (8 miles) from Ourique. As the name implies, we seize the day by enjoying the calmness of the countryside, the landscape, superb sunsets and amazing starry skies. To the west you can enjoy the Alentejo coast, and to the south the Algarve where we find the most magnificent beaches.

Beautyful little house with outdoor kitchen, including a bbq area and a spacious terrace. The views on our farm are simply beautyful. On clear days you can can see the ocean and on the other the Monchique Mountains. If you love the simple beauty of lush nature, the stars and the silence at night which only allows to listen to the sound of the owle and the fox, you are just right with us.
