The Creek Cottage

The Creek Cottage is a bright and airy, open floor plan home located just 2 miles from Mount Ida, 5 miles from Lake Ouachita and super easy access to many of the area crystal mines. There is a king bed in the common area that can be walled off by the large room divider curtain. A separate bedroom has 2 large twin beds and there is also a couch comfortable enough to sleep on if needed. One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen complete this small gem in the woods overlooking a year-round creek.

Close by activities include nearby Lake access and marinas around Mt. Ida, crystal digging, Forest access for hiking, biking, ATV riding and canoeing along the Caddo River at nearby Caddo Gap and Glenwood, among many other activities and amenities in the popular tourist areas including Hot Springs National Park.

Tucked at the end of a winding country road, the Grotto offers the perfect blend of natural seclusion and modern comfort, just minutes from quaint Mt. Ida, Lake Ouachita, and world-class bike trails. Watch the deer as you sip your morning coffee on the porch. Hike up the wooded hillside along trickling streams. Stargaze without a trace of light pollution on the multi-level back deck.

The Treehouse is a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Tropical Treehouse set in a ten acre Jungle Garden with a canal lagoon. Private mature forest park of 250 acres and five miles of nature trails. There are four lakes and the Treehouse overlooks Lake Winnamocka. The house is 35 feet in the air accessible by stairs but with a cargo lift for luggage and groceries. The bath is tile with heated floor and tile shower. There is a bidet, washer/dryer in the full bath. The kitchen is modern. There are 3 porches. Master bed and two loft bunks.

Cool Ridge Cabin

Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table.

We do accept 1 small dog with a fee. Cabin is located just steps away from the Ouachita River. It has an awesome view of the river and is peaceful and quiet. You won't find a nicer cabin in this area. It has a big deck where you can sit and relax. It has a gas grill, Alexa command outdoor audio, and a swing set for the kids. It also has beautiful rock walkway leading down to the river with a lounging area and a charcoal grill and prepping table. You can swim or fish in front of the cabin.

Come enjoy nature in our beautiful cabin. Woods Creek Cabin is in a quiet, wooded setting just north of Mt. Ida. We have a compact kitchenette with microwave, toaster, Keurig and small refridgerator. Our rustic log queen size bed is perfect for getting a restful night's sleep before exploring the Ouachita Mountains just outside your door. You will enjoy playing a fun game of horseshoes, Baggo, grilling or just sitting around the firepit while listening to the creek and birds.

Riverview home at Mt. Ida with spectacular views

Welcome to your private retreat with gorgeous views of the Ouachita River and over 4 acres to explore. This beautiful home features a wrap-around deck that gives the bedrooms balcony access to enjoy sunsets. The living room has reclining leather couches and a TV with Roku while the eat-in kitchen has plenty of cookware. Downstairs, play pool with a 2nd Roku TV. Full washer and dryer access, 15 miles from Lake Ouachita with boat rentals and easy day drive to Hot Springs.
