Our "Quirky" Cottage is just that!! If you want to experience "old Florida" come and stay with us in our quirky cottage nestled in old oak trees! It was originally built in 1960 as a camping cabin, it came in a box as a do it yourself kit! There are a few left around town - really unique and private space! Located just 5-10 minutes from the Okaloosa Island beaches and everything downtown Fort Walton Beach has to offer and just 15 minutes to Destin. (all depending on traffic!)

Welcome to “Sandy Thongs”, a completely updated, beachfront condo with a fresh new look, making it one of the most desirable properties on Okaloosa Island. Breathtaking sunrises, sunsets and gulf views await you. Sandy Thongs is equipped with everything you will need for your stay, including beach towels and beach service, which includes 2-chairs, and an umbrella setup daily on the beach March 1-October 31st. Our Happy Place is situated on the water where you can sit and watch boats go by, or fish from the shore. Take a dip in the community pool that offers plenty of lounger chairs and tables with umbrellas. Just across the street you will find a boardwalk to stoll down to the white sandy beaches where you can soak up the sun and Gulf of Mexico views.
