Other features include a dishwasher, cot, washing machine / tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, and air conditioning and wifi throughout. All towels & bed linen provided.

A charming 2 bedroom house, a few minutes walk from Red Lion Square. The perfect base from which to explore this Georgian gem of a town. Cosy sitting room, separate TV room, well equipped kitchen with table. Two spacious bedrooms. Modern shower room. Enclosed rear courtyard. As there are 2 flights of steep stairs (one without a banister) between the bedrooms and the bathroom the house isn’t suitable for those with restricted mobility. Logs are not provided but are available to buy locally.

Unfortunately we are unsuitable for small children and wheelchairs due to the stairs.

The cottage sits adjacent to river where you can use our canoe to visit the local pubs or choose one of the many fabulous walks nearby such as the Old Sulehay Forest. Only 4 miles from quaint Stamford and Burghley House or 10 miles to Oundle. Peterborough train station (45 min trains to London KX) is 8 miles away.

The Good Place, Spalding

The good place is in the centre of town making it easy to explore Spalding . We are a five minute walk from the train station. Our beautiful house contains interesting history and still has a lot of original features. It’s a great place for a relaxing weekend away or as a base to explore the local area. We are half hour away from Stamford , Peterborough and only an hour away from Norfolk . London is accessible in an hour and half by train.

The Limes Cottage in Tinwell is ideally located to explore Stamford, Rutland and the surrounding area. It is south facing and is light and airy. It is both private and tranquil, whilst being really conveniently located for exploring near or far afield. It provides an excellent retreat, to relax and unwind after a busy day of holiday activities. Recently fully refurbished, it offers a high standard of accomodation.
