The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. Limited Wifi and Freeview TV available. BBQ only available over summer (Nov-March).

Aranga Farm Stay

Our property is a working beef farm, so you will hear and see daily activities. The section is fully fenced. The porch gives a nice view of the valley. The pool is available from mid December to mid March usually. Pool is not heated. Kai Iwi Lakes 20-25 minutes drive and the Maunganui Bluff Beach 10 minutes. Note: 4 km of metal road off S H 12 to reach the house. No Wifi/Good mobile phone reception/Free-view TV Dargaville is the closest place for shopping and eating out.

The Blue Dolphin, Opononi, Hokianga

"The Blue Dolphin" 25 Harbour View Drive, is a small charming 120 year old cottage in a unique location on the water's edge in Opononi, facing north with uninterrupted views of the harbour and sand dunes. The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

'Drink the wild Air' Wild Forest Hideaway is the oldest human-made thing on the property. A mix of peace and calm in a secluded slice of the Kauri Coast. The 110-year-old Kauri Bushman's Cottage is self-contained but attached to our house. It sits next to the stream, surrounded by native forest. An outdoor cast iron bath. A swing chair by the stream. A dining table and a hammock on the covered deck. Views to the secret garden.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

The perfect escape - with no cleaning fees or other hidden charges. Self-contained, own entrance and carpark, Omapere Beach, legendary Hokianga sunset and dunes.
