The Cozy Conway Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet along the Conway River. This relaxing getaway is about 1/4 mile off of rte 230. The cottage was an original one-room cabin with a centrally located wood stove/fireplace. It now boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, large windows and a patio/deck with river views. During the fall and winter months, you can see the sunset over the mountains of the National park. It’s a 20 min drive to the Shenandoah National Park entrance and 5 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyard.

The retreat at Rooted Land Co. consists of 1 farmhouse and 3 luxury tiny cottages on 350 private acres nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains with more than 1-mile of Rapidan River frontage. Kayak the Rapidan, take a horseback ride at Oakland Heights or see a play at Barboursville. Exposed beams throughout, a beautiful Loft and back porch for sitting. You won't go wrong.

The Log Cabin at Ridgeview - Hiking, Wine, UVA

NOTE: Prices shown are for 2 bedrooms, 1 queen and 1 double, and 2 baths. For access to 3rd bedroom, at an additional fee which includes one double and one single, set number of guests to 5 or 6. Were you raised in a barn? No! Us either but here’s your chance to stay in our cozy, converted dairy barn, perfect for a romantic getaway. For generations, the barn was used to milk the dairy cattle on our farmette nestled at the foothills of Massanutten Resort & the Shenandoah National Park. The Dairy Barn makes a perfect small gathering home place. Just wait until you see the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the lofted bedroom & the breathtaking foliage from the screened porch.

It features a large outdoor fire pit and expansive grounds to spread out and relax. This 1000 sqft unit is located in the upper level with views of the surrounding grounds and trees. Brightly decorated and designed in partnership with Lets Go and Stay properties; the Red Fox retreat is a great place to stay while visiting Culpeper and the surrounding area.
