The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Mole End Cottage is a cosy humble ‘But and Ben’ single storey cottage made for two with one double bedroom. Offered on a self-catering basis, it has its own private garden, separate private parking and an outdoor seating area. In the West mainland area called Evie, we are around 20 minutes drive from both Kirkwall and Stromness which are the two main towns on the mainland Orkney. We offer complementary toiletries and provide some main stores for the kitchen plus your teas, coffee and sugar.

Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster. Coastal walks and beach from the property.

Fieldhouse is a short walk from both Highland Park Distillery and Scapa Distillery. PLEASE NOTE - we have a minimum stay of 4 nights and a maximum stay of 14 nights

The cottage is situated in a quiet area with views over farmland. Wi-Fi and heating provided at no additional cost.

Make sure your booking is adequate length for all you want to see and do; as many guests advise that a guest requires at least a four night stay or longer to appreciate all that Orkney has to offer.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Set in the parish of Sandwick in rural Orkney surrounded by farmland, approximately 1.5 miles from the sea at Skaill beach and Skara Brae and approximately 4 miles from the ancient Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness and the recently discovered Ness of Brodgar which is currently being excavated.

The Auld Kitchen

Our beautifully restored self catering cottage is located on the island of Burray linked by road via the Churchill barriers to the mainland of Orkney and is attached to our family home. We have kept and restored some of the old beautiful features like the exposed stone walls and stone floor we have also installed a new multi fuel stove for cosy nights around the fire
