Welcome to The Shanty! We are thrilled to offer you a relaxing stay at our charming property! The apartment is your "home away from home" and is equipped with amenities that make it comfortable and cozy. The property is centrally situated in the quaint town of Osburn, just steps from the "Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes" and a short distance to Hiawatha Bike Trail, Pulaski Trail, the Gondola, Ziplining, ATV and Snowmobile trails, Fishing, Silver Mountain, Lookout Pass, and Silver Rapids Water Park.

"The Rusty Nickel" A totally updated home in the heart of outdoor recreation paradise! This 2 bed, 1 bath home has been gutted and remodeled with the guest in mind. Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout, Butcher Block Countertops, Stainless appliances, large situp bar, flatscreen TV (No cable, but internet), full subway tile tub surround, and most importantly comfortable king bed in room #1, along with a rare Twin over Queen bunk bed in Bedroom #2. Great outdoor space with firepit and BBQ!

Comfortable studio condo offers a king size bed, a full bathroom, kitchenette, and patio. With recent updates such as new paint/carpet throughout, new furnishings, and blackout curtains this condo will make you feel at home. The hot tubs and laundry room are on the first floor. There are areas to store your bikes and your skis for you to enjoy all that Silver Mountain Resort has to offer. Guests can purchase water park passes online but they are not included in the rental price. Permit 19-09

This cozy 2-Bedroom waterfront, spacious cabin is the perfect summer getaway. Private lake front access and warm and cozy in the winter. This is a great area for all of your outdoor adventures from fishing, kayaking and water sports to hunting, hiking and outdoor recreation. You have restaurants and groceries as close as two miles down the road where you'll find the best huckleberry shakes or you can travel further to Sandpoint, Idaho which is less than two hours away and visit the shops.

Rustic Penthouse Condo with Large Spa Room!

This Rustic and modern 2 bedroom/2 bath condo is located on the top floor, next to Silver Mountain. Enjoy Skiing, Water park, Hiawatha Trail, Bike Trails, Galena Ridge golf course, fishing on Coeur d'Alene river, hiking, and so much more! Amenities include hot tub, sauna, steam room, fully equipped kitchen, with granite counter tops, and an in-unit full size washer and dryer, w/essentials! *Tickets for Tubing, Skiing, and Waterpark are available on the Silver Mountain Resort Website.

B&L Cabin, Cabinet Mountain Base Camp and Retreat

This cozy 576 sq ft cabin is perfect for your next Montana getaway! A bathroom with shower, soap, kitchen, and porch with mountain views through the trees, you'll have no problem just enjoying some alone time! Enjoy hammocks among the trees or sit on the porch and enjoy trees. The water heater is small, 5 gallons so showers need to be short. Sorry, that is the only size we could get in there. There is no oven, but there is a 2 burner, nice hot plate and an air fryer.

New Fun Base

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This cozy small house is all new with charming boho decor and sits right next to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike path. Summer fun also includes three golf courses and the Route of the Hiawatha bike path. Centrally located in Osburn, guests can be at Silver Mountain Ski Area or Lookout Pass Ski Area within minutes. The nearby towns of Kellogg and Wallace offer unique dining and shopping opportunities.

Mountain-side retreat at the base of Wardner! Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts—we are located across from hiking trails and just a 5-minute walk to local breweries, shops, and restaurants. Only 1 mile to the Silver Mountain Gondola. BIKE FRIENDLY: We offer secure indoor storage for mountain bikes and a dedicated wash station. Easy access to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and the Route of the Hiawatha. Your ideal Silver Valley basecamp!

Enjoy the bicycle trails, ski slopes, hunting, fishing, hiking, zip lines and numerous festivals that the area has to offer. Walking distance to historic downtown. Off street parking and motorcycle friendly. Taking extra care to disinfect the space due to COVID-19 for your safety.
