GODA. Island Hideaway on Svartsö

Fish and bathe in the lake, heat up in the sauna, do yoga and long table dinners in the orangery and sleep under the stars in the cabin. Named GODA ('good'), this is a wonderful place to get back to nature. GODA is a twist on “good” (gott in Swedish/god in Danish); an island hide-out for curious young souls like yourself demanding goodness for nature, self and others. We build GODA in 2016-2018 and she continues to grow and evolve as you will see if you visit her. GODA comfortably hosts 7 people in beds (plus 2 kids beds and 2 baby beds) in the main house and 6 people in Mini GODA. Our latest newcomer with own kitchen, bathroom and space. So a total of 13 adults and 4 kids can enjoy the space collectively, then using madrases on the floor, in the Orangerie or on the benches in the relax room in the sauna to accommodate additional people. The rent is primarily for the main cabin and if a larger group than 7, also for Mini GODA. If you want to access the sauna, orangeri and hot tub, please let us know in advance and we can arrange that, however, the hot tub should be used for stays longer than 4 nights and depends the water level in the lake. The sauna might be rented out by the island hotel during your stay, unless you specifically would like the privacy. In that case, please let us know. The only immediate neighbors are the fascinating fauna that can be discovered all around. There's easy access from the mainland, with boats running all year long. The best access point is on the north side of the island. There are only about 10 cars on the island, all with special permission, so please park your car on one of the main island access points, e.g. Vaxholm (for best access to the house via the north side), Åsättra (Ljusterö) brygga or Boda. You can rent bikes to get around from the grocery store or the hotel (the hotel is only 300m walk from the ground) Easy access from the main land with boats running all year around. The best access is on the North side of the island. Welcome to our adorable seaside cottage built 120 years ago. A perfect place to enjoy the sound of nature, far away from busy Stockholm even though it´s only 45 minutes away. This is for those of you longing to get close to nature & back to basics on an Eco labeled island. Since the cottage is preserved like in the old days, you use the sea instead of a bathroom when washing. No toilet but a outhouse in the garden. Fancy a sunset swim on your own private beach? Then this is the place for you!

There are two houses, a main building (190 sqm) and guest house (40 sqm), both of which are located 30 meters from the water, where the own jetty is located. Egen strand, uteplats, grillplats, vedeldad kamin och underbar utsikt. Maten lagar du över öppen eld eller på en kokplatta i tältet. Du roas av vågskvalpet som vaggar dig till sömns. Ni har tillgång till toalett och dusch i närheten av tältet. Dricksvatten finns i en dunk. Diskar gör du i havet. Varmt välkomna

海边小屋，靠近斯德哥尔摩和瓦克斯霍姆。

Här kan du bo i ett hus direkt vid havskanten i Stockholms skärgård. Endast 30 minuter med bil från Stockholms innerstad. Huset består av ett sovrum med havsutsikt åt två håll, sov med fönstret öppet och hör vågorna. Sällskapsrum med fullt utrustat kök, soffa och fåtöljer. Uteplats åt två håll med både morgon och kvällssol. Det finns en liten stenstrand i direkt anslutning till huset, 20 meter från huset finns också en vedeldad bastu att låna. Badbrygga finns 100 meter från huset.

Cosy little house on large property only 300m from a small sandy beach and 30 min drive into central Stockholm. You can partly see the sea from the house and as we are situated by the waterway into Stockholm you can see the ferries going by. Completely renovated in 2012 with new kitchen and bathroom and all-year-round isolation and heating. Continuously updated and partly new furniture in 2022. Come stay in the archipelago but enjoy the convenience of being on the mainland!

På de ca 12 kvm finns en fullt utrustad kokvrå med diskho, kylskåp, varmvatten och matplats för två. I sovrummet finns en enkelsäng som kan dras ut till 160 cm. Ett modernt duschrum finns i ladan och delas med det andra gästhuset. Varje gästhus har eget torrdass.
