Nestled on a large, private lot with easy access (2-3 min walk) to sandy beaches & stunning views. In the winter, x-country ski in Torbolton Forest or drive to Mt. Pakenham (30mins) or Calabogie Ski Resort (1-hour). The cottage has everything you need for a quiet, comfortable stay. Everything is within walking distance or a short drive: playground, soccer fields, library, convenience store/LCBO/Beer store, pharmacy, café, ice cream truck, skating on the river, a rink nearby and restaurants.

Don’t worry about forgetting anything! It’s 7 minutes from Carleton Place, grocery stores, Walmart, LCBO, Starbucks and Tim Horton’s! It feels like you are in the country but so close to all amenities. Take a working vacation and commute to Ottawa (35 mins) or Kanata (20 mins) or use the wifi to work from the lake!

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.
