A calm lake chalet in wood, between two regional parks, minutes walk from nature trails and off the beaten path. East windows let the happy morning light on natural materials and heated floors. In the evening, a cozy cinema with ambient sound by a fireplace, a second media room with a turntable ideal for music. Outdoors, a hot tub, a wood-burning sauna, a fireplace by the lake and a slide. Cross-country ski, snowshoe trails are minutes’ walk, and snowmobile routes start right at the driveway.

Welcome to La Khabine! This cozy, modern cabin comes with all you need to relax and connect with nature. Enjoy a glass of wine with the sound of a crackling fire in the wood burning fireplace. Take in the view of the forest through the surrounding floor to ceiling windows. Relax in the private outdoor cedar barrel sauna. La pièce principale-salon a un foyer en pierre des champs, un divan-lit et télé wifi. La chambre offre un lit queen, télé wifi, des espaces de rangement et deux tables de nuit. Espace pour feu de camp-bbq. Parfait pour le télétravail, se retrouver en couple, en famille ou entre amis été comme hiver.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
