This is a historical Arts and Crafts home built in 1925 located a block from downtown. The location of the home is semi-commercial. A neighbor has teenagers and are sometimes known to play loud music and present as teenagers. Palatka is a rugged small town with areas of distress and ranks poorly in terms of economic opportunities. It has been identified as one of the poorest counties in the state of Florida. The town is small and less developed which appeals to those seeking a quieter life.

Enjoy stunning lake views while sipping your morning coffee on the back deck. Lots of paddling options exist here on spring-fed Sand Lake. Hosts offer a paddle boat, canoe, and paddle boards for your enjoyment. Practice yoga on your own private deck, fish from the dock, or star gaze around the campfire each night. There are kayaks on premises for use. This is an ideal location to enjoy North Florida’s lake life with family, friends, or work retreat. Includes a fully stocked kitchen, covered porch, fire pit, gas grill, and WiFi if you feel the need to plug in. NOT suitable for parties or events. NO loud noise, please.

There are 2 springs both 5 minutes from the house, Salt Springs & Silver Glen Springs. Beautiful Juniper Springs, Silver Springs and Alexander Springs are all a hop, skip, and jump away. Bring your fishing poles and mosey down to the boathouse and try your luck fishing right in the backyard at the canal.
