This gated community tucked in the Palo Pinto mountains has views that will take your breath away! After a day of fishing/swimming/kayaking (kayaks included), indulge in cooking dinner outside on the Blackstone followed by fire pit s'mores. Enjoy a cold drink on the porch swing or opt for ping pong, corn hole or games. You'll see cows, birds, & deer.

Embrace the bucolic lifestyle of this quaint cabin that’s adjacent to a pasture and pond. When weather permits, we have a fire pit you may use to make S’mores right in front of your cabin. We welcome you here to enjoy rest during your travels or maybe need a quiet place that’s near the Hospital. We are 2 miles from historic downtown & close to parks & lakes. Also, I will prepare breakfast for you and deliver to your door! (Times for breakfast delivery are from 8:30 to 10am, just let me know:)

Bring your boat & tie up to our dock. Lots of space to park your trailer. Pet friendly to non-aggressive, house-trained dogs up to 25# with a pet fee. Friendly dogs and cats roam the unfenced area.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO MONITOR THE SITE FOR MESSAGES AND INFORMATION REQUEST FROM HOST. Private cabin with great lake location close to Lush resort, YMCA camp, local restaurants and grocery. Location is on the east side of the lake between Hells Gate and the dam. Full kitchen but no dishwasher. Curtains on master bedroom doors. Dock, no lift.

You can gaze at the wide-open country stars as well as listen to the sounds of the countryside. We're a 34-minute drive to the South of Possum Kingdom Lake, a 10 minute drive to Palo Pinto lake, and a 27 minute drive to the new Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. An outdoor doorbell camera has been installed 09/25/2024.

These 12 acres brings you to a simpler time and place.

Lakeside Getaway

606 Dunn offers a relaxing getaway for the whole family with plenty of activities. This one time mobile home has been renovated and has an ad on in which both garage doors open to a large fresh air porch. Everything you’ll need to enjoy some time on Palo Pinto Lake is provided. The house has three bedrooms with four beds and three TVs with Wi-Fi and streaming service included. Two full bathrooms accompany the house, and you will have access to the dock, fire pit, and grill.

Within a few miles of the Palo Pinto Mountains State Park our home is a perfect place to relax with the family. This two bedroom, comfy Texas themed home is the perfect place for rest and relaxation after a day fishing or hiking. The home is in the northern tip of Hill Country and has beautiful scenery with views of the Palo Pinto Mountains and a perfect view of the stars. Hotel quality beds that will allow for a great nights sleep.

The Lazy Possum Cottage @PK

The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away.
