Our name "Burwa" comes from the indigenous Guna dialect, it means "air, wind or breeze". You may see or hear howler monkeys and birds that live around this area; Depending on the season of your visit, you can find lemons, mangoes, coconut trees grown right there on the island. You will enjoy beautiful sunsets and nights full of stars, burwa is one of the few busy islands, so you will feel an atmosphere of disconnection and far from reality.

We are proud to offer Casita del Mar, an eco aqua villa built over the Caribbean ocean in Dolphin Bay, on Isla Cristobal in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro, Panama. Situated along a mile long coral reef approx. 25 minutes by boat from Bocas town/airport and 2 hours from the Costa Rica border. The property has direct access to beautiful hiking trails and the villa is stocked with snorkel gear, paddleboards and kayaks for guests to use.
