Our private, pet friendly location (3 acres) is the perfect base for exploring Central VI. Feeling adventurous? You could ski, surf, golf, bike and hike all in one day! If not so ambitious, enjoy a day of sight seeing, exploring local beaches, snuggle up by the fireplace. Or, better yet, grab a blanket and stargaze on the private patio with propane fireplace and roast marshmallows. Whatever you decide to do, 'The Chalet' is the perfect place to unwind and truly let Island Life invite you in.

Excited to host 2026! Family/pet friendly suite! Only a 10 minute walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants and more! Don’t miss the sandcastle competition, 2026! This is a central location! Take a day trip Tofino! The Pineapple Hut is a small but wheelchair accessible, main floor entry, safety bars in bathroom. One bedroom, sleeps 4 (double beds), washer, dryer, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchenette. Private entry and your own fenced yard. Make memories at the Pineapple Hut, right by the sea!

The Lazy J - a peaceful farm in a natural setting

Welcome to the Lazy J Ranch. We offer a self-contained walkout basement suite that sleeps four comfortably. The suite has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed. It has its own patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and a view out over the fields and the forest. Nestled on 13 acres, The Lazy J is home to our alpacas, horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Walk down the trail to watch the animals, and relax beside the creek.

The farm in the woods

New stand alone, 1 level bright 2 bedroom nestled in the woods on 5 acres with radiant floor heating on a working farm. Located in the centre of the island we are not far from many local activities. Englishman River Park and the famous Hammerfest trails for bike and hikes. Fast Times amusements is just 10 min away with fun for the whole family. Parksville beach is a short 20 min comute. Cathedral Grove is 30 mins away for a beautiful stroll through the massive standing B.C. trees.

West Coast Retreat - one block to beach

Welcome to our west coast escape that is only a short walk to the beach and 5 minutes to downtown Parksville. Enjoy our little sanctuary in this quiet neighbourhood. Our space brings to life traditional west coast style with cedar finishings and sun streams through skylights all day long. Enjoy the indoor space or outdoors with a large backyard and patio. Cedar Bluff is our home on a forested acreage at the edge of wilderness on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, BC. It’s hard to believe we’re just 8 minutes from the Langdale ferry terminal, because it feels like you’re in the remote, coastal backcountry of British Columbia. OCEANFRONT 2bedroom suite hottub, yoga rm, kayaks!

Imagine waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the rocks, the sunrise mirrored across the water. Take your coffee out onto the private oceanfront patio where you can lounge in the hammock. Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.

The townhouse looks out into forest parkland and is an easy five minute stroll through the resort to Rathtrevor beach. The beautiful sand beach stretches out almost a kilometre at low tide offering safe sandy beaches and warm water swimming.

Oceanside Escapes

Oceanside Escapes is a year-round destination, perfect for a romantic weekend away or an annual trip with family and friends. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is pet friendly (additional fee) and is available for bookings for five nights or more during the summer season (2026 onwards) and two nights or more during the balance of the year. The cabin is situated on two floors, with a loft style third bedroom and bathroom on the upstairs level.

The Trincomali Hideaway Oceanfront Yurt

This luxurious oceanfront yurt is hidden in an ancient cedar grove providing privacy and an amazing backdrop to its unprecedented ocean front setting. Set atop an ocean front rock face with a fully covered patio. A fully equipped kitchen and spa like bathroom highlight the luxurious amenities included in this stay. An upscale romantic getaway like no other. Breakfast provided, our guests receive coffee, teas, and light breakfast fare.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. This is a great kickoff spot for those looking to explore central, west, and north Vancouver Island. We are a few minutes walk to Sunny Beach Road, a favourite beach spot amongst locals. A cafe, pub, ice cream shop, and many nature trails are all just a short walk away. The cottage is equipped with a queen size bed. A fold out cot is available for a 3rd guest.
