Pearly Beach is a rural haven of endless white beaches and indigenous fynbos dunes. It is a quiet town, for people to relax and unwind from busyness and distractions of life. Uitwaaien is a Dutch word that means "to take a break to clear one's head" or literally "to walk in the wind" with the intention to refresh yourself and your mind. Philip has Dutch heritage and grew up with this saying and we both lived in the Netherlands in Amsterdam and Haarlem for 5 years when we were just married.

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.

Offshore Cottage

Cosy and light two bedroom cottage on the premises of one of the original old houses in Onrus, surrounded by local cafe's and restaurants. Conveniently situated with a 2 minute walk to the lagoon and 10 minute walk to the main beach. The kitchen and lounge are open planned with a fireplace and an outdoor braai on the covered veranda. This lovely welcoming space is suitable for 2 couples, single travelers or a small family.

Fully equipt self catering unit. Only bring your towels for the beach. Come and enjoy a relaxing barbeqeu with a glass of wine on the your own private deck while watching the whales playing right in front of you. Take relaxing walks, enjoy whine tasting, horse riding and shark diving. Lovely beach less than 1 km away. Excellent restaurants. There are stairs to climb. Safe and free parking with an excellent alarm system.
