The Barn Square Island, peaceful and pet friendly.

Square Island is a peaceful, rural location adjacent to a small farm with Pembroke town and several outstanding beaches just a short drive away. The Barn is a converted donkey stable, with traditional lime plaster walls and upcycled timber giving it a rustic feel. The courtyard is gated and secure for pets, perfect for drinks and BBQ in the summer. No children under 12 due to fire safety regs for the sleeping mezzanines. It has its own slipway, providing direct access to the estuary for beach walks and launching small boats, canoes and paddleboards . The cottage has been recently restored and furnished to a very high standard. It has a new kitchen and new bathrooms, full central heating and a wood-burning stove.

Wildlife frequents our front door, we have a daily visit from a hungry Woodpecker! . You'll find wonderful views from the rear windows, reaching out towards the Marina and beyond. The 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path route goes directly past the front door. Perfectly situated for a calm, peaceful coastal escape.

The cottage is located just a stones throw from the Bosherston Lily Ponds and Broad Haven Beach and a little further to the famous Barafundle. One well behaved dog welcome at £25 per stay.
