The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Experience the local Britain Hill Vineyard,coffee,and ice cream shops nearby. The charming city of Lancaster with its many authentic restaurants is only a 20 minute drive. Relax with family, friends, or enjoy a solo retreat at this peaceful place to stay in the country. Chestnut House was built in the early 1940s, with Wormy Chestnut wood everywhere! It is a unique home, with an apartment built over a garage / wood working shop.. then connected to the main house later. This space available to rent is separate and fully functional from the main house where we live. Enjoy 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen and living area.. along with the large outdoors!

This romantic getaway offers a history all its own. Welcome to our fully renovated and restored circa 1829 barn 2nd floor guest suite. Within walking/biking distance to Historic Newtown Borough and all of its unique boutique shops and restaurants. This cozy space offers 1 bedroom with a queen bed, efficiency kitchen, open floor plan living room, dedicated workspace and outdoor deck. Close to I-95 as well as the charming towns of New Hope, Lambertville, Doylestown and Princeton.

Historic Amish homestead Barn loft apartment

The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.

Each window of the rustic Carriage House has a unique view of the country beauty. The large windows showcase the shady pond where lily pads abound. Read a book on the cute bridge over the ponds or fish along the banks. The private Jacuzzi tub of the large ground floor bathroom adds to the relaxation!

Welcome to The Barn! Peacefully nestled in the woods on the top of a beautiful ridge. Located directly off of Rt. 35, and only a mile off of US 322, gets you to State College or Harrisburg in around 45 minutes. With plenty around to do, we are only 10 minutes from the nationally known, Port Royal Speedway. Close to state parks, ski resorts, fly fishing, hiking and kayaking. And local Amish produce and wineries just down the road!

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.
